Diameter; 16 1/2″ (42.2 cm)

Condition; glaze fritting to the cavetto and minor fritting to the rim

Small chip 0.3 cm to bottom rim

It was long presumed that this was a representation on the Sofia Mosque in Istanbul

But it would seem more likely to be of St Peters Basilica in Venice
