A Rare Kakiemon Dish

Of lobed oblong shape using the milky white ‘Nigoshide’ porcelain

The interior decorated with bright enamels over a shallowly moulded design

With Ruyi shaped clouds above a pine tree issuing from pierced rockwork

The rim with pine and plum

The underside undecorated

Kakiemon 17/18thC

Length; 8 3/16″ (20.2 cm)

Condition; excellent, one small frit to rim
