Condition: both undamaged but with typical slight glaze degradation
The Vung Tau was an Asian trading vessel wrecked a few miles away from Con Tao Island off Southern Vietnam.
The vessel was probably heading to the Dutch trading centre in Batavia, Indonesia.
Where goods were recombined from various Asian ships and sent on to Holland
The wreck is dated to C1690
