A Famille Verte Ewer and Cover for the Islamic Market

Of flattened pear shaped body

With curving spout of hexagonal section and handle

Decorated in a peach shaped panels with an underglaze blue floral spray on an iron red background

On a seeded green ground with scattered flower sprays

Kangxi L17th/E18thC

Height;

Condition; ewer in good condition, one small chip to rim and shallow glaze flakes to the handle

Unusually both lugs at the top of the handle are present, though one has been reattached

The cover broken with the knop and areas missing
